Every product we carry is tested by an independent, third-party laboratory. We do not take a supplier’s word for what is in a bottle, and neither should you. Below is what gets tested, how to read a certificate of analysis, and how to get the one for your product.
What we test for
On your COA: cannabinoids
The certificate of analysis is a potency report. It confirms that the CBD, CBG or CBN content matches what the label claims, and that THC stays under the 0.3% federal limit.

Before a batch is released it is screened for heavy metals, microbials, pesticides and residual solvents. These screens sit behind the potency report that you see.
Every batch, on its own
A certificate belongs to one batch, not to a product line. When a new batch is produced it is tested again, and it gets its own certificate with its own date.
How to read a certificate of analysis
A COA is a lab document, so it looks dense. You only need three things from it.
- Match the batch or lot number. Find the number printed on your bottle or box and check that it matches the number on the certificate. If they do not match, the certificate is for a different batch.
- Check the cannabinoid totals. Compare the total CBD, CBG or CBN on the report against the amount stated on the label. Confirm the THC figure is below 0.3%.
- Check the test date. A certificate should be recent enough to be meaningful for the batch you are holding. The date sits near the top of the report.

Certificates are tied to the batch you received, so we send the matching one rather than posting a single file that may not be yours. Tell us the product and the batch or lot number from the packaging and we will send the certificate for it.
