Raspberry CBD Chocolate Swirl Rolls
Inspired by the Raspberry Swirl Roll from GoodHousekeeping.com, these sweet and melt-in-your-mouth tarts are so good with a good cup of tea—and they are a great addition to your easy Mother’s Day brunch.
Ingredients
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 ¼ oz. package of dry yeast
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 3 cup flour
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp salt
- Oil for the pan
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- CBD Chocolate Bar (melted)
- 2 tbsp heavy cream for brushing
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup confection’s sugar sifted
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Frozen raspberries (optional)
In a small saucepan, heat milk and ½ cup water until warm. In a large bowl, whisk yeast, sugar, and 1 cup of flour. Whisk in warm milk, cover, and set aside for 15 minutes until the top layer is foamy. Mix your butter and salt into the mixture before gradually mixing in the rest of your flour. Cover again and set aside for another hour until it doubles in size.
Roll out your risen dough onto a floured surface then spread your melted chocolate evenly on it. Top it off with your frozen raspberries, then roll the dough into a tight log. Cut the roll into 12 x 1 inch thick rolls, then transfer rolls into a greased casserole. Cover and let rise again for another 50 to 60 minutes.
Lastly, heat your oven to 375F, and brush the rolls with heavy cream and bake until golden brown and puffy, 25 to 27 minutes. Let cool on a rack for 10 minutes. Your frosting is made by combining your sour cream, confectioner’s sugar, vanilla, and 1 tsp of lemon juice. Spread over the warm rolls before serving this Mother’s Day brunch recipe.
Spinach and Cream Cheese CBD Breakfast Tarts
Taking a spin at an original recipe from theendlessmeal.com, we substituted their asparagus, goat cheese, and cherry tomato recipe for our own spinach and cream cheese creation. This is one brunch idea that will surely get your guests talking.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 large onion thinly sliced
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- Flour for dusting
- 1 package of frozen spinach (defrosted, and drained)
- 1 package of cream cheese
- Garlic powder
- A couple of drops of your favorite CBD tincture
- Salt and pepper to season
In a large frying pan, add onion and cook until onions are translucent. Add garlic powder and drained spinach to the mix, then set aside for it to cool slightly. In another bowl, put the onion and spinach inside before adding the package of cream cheese. Salt and pepper to season.
Roll out your puff pastry dough on a well-floured surface to 9 x 11 inches. Place the dough on a parchment-lined baking tray before adding your toppings. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees, then spread your spinach, onion, and cream cheese mixture, leaving 1-inch space at the edges. Bake for 25 minutes or until puff pastry is puffed and golden. Remove tart from the oven and let cool before serving.
Turkey and Brie CBD Croissants
Our last Mother’s Day brunch recipe is our favorite yet. We took the original idea from Kitchensanctuary.com and switched up the ham and cheese to a more refined combination of turkey and brie. Enjoy!

- 8 slices of turkey sandwich meat
- Brie, sliced
- Cranberry sauce or raspberry jam
- A couple of drops of berry-flavored CBD oil drops.
- ½ tbsp Dijon mustard
- ½ brown sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees, then slice croissants in half lengthways. Place a couple of slices of brie, then turkey, then brie again.
