Tinctures are a great way to get a clean and direct serving of CBD oil daily. They’re very easy to dispense with a pre-measured dropper, and because you only need a few drops a day, a single bottle will last you quite a while, even if you’re using it daily.

A growing body of research shows that CBD has plenty of potential benefits by acting on the body’s endocannabinoid system. For many, taking CBD regularly offers a sense of calm and relaxation.

CBD comes in many forms, but the benefits of a tincture include:

Fast-acting: a few drops under the tongue is the most direct and fast way of getting the CBD to your brain and body
Versatile servings: You can use as little or as much as you need on any given day and measure it to your specifications
Great taste

Made by Hemp’s Hemp Extract Tincture is recommended for people who are just trying out CBD products for the first time, since it’s easy to tell how much you are taking, and it’s easy to track and increase the serving as you see fit over time.

People who want to have complete control of their portion sizes
People who want a full-spectrum hemp oil that tastes great

How to Use Made by Hemp: Hemp Extract Tincture (1 oz, 500mg, 1000mg, 2000mg CBD)

Tinctures are one of the absolute simplest ways to use CBD oil. There’s no need for any special equipment, measuring or preparing — simply place a few drops under the tongue and you’re good to go!

Here’s a more detailed rundown of the best way to take a tincture:

Shake the bottle gently by rubbing it between your palms.
Open the bottle and squeeze the dropper to fill it with the desired quantity of oil.
Place the oil your tongue and hold it there for at least a minute before swallowing (the longer it is there, the more it absorbs directly into the capillaries).
Wait about an hour to feel the effects.

If you are not sure how much to use, start with about 5 mg and take a little bit more each day until you see results, up to a maximum of 100 mg per day.

You can take a few drops in the morning and then more throughout the day.

You may also add the tincture to any type of beverage you like.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a hemp extract tincture?

Our hemp extract tincture is made, namely, from hemp extract and natural oils. The oil is unrefined and extracted from hemp plants using a process that involves CO2. Tinctures usually involve mixing the hemp oil with other types of oil and or alcohol to make it easier to ingest and absorb. These types of products don’t get you “high” because they contain only minute amounts of THC.

Are hemp extract tinctures more effective than other CBD products?

Each CBD product will vary in strength, portions and the speed at which they affect the user. Tinctures are particularly useful for those who want a relatively pure, direct and fast-acting option. This is great for people who want to access the benefits of CBD directly. And this particular oil is great-tasting too, which means you don’t have to “hide” the flavor in other foods!

How do you use a hemp extract tincture?

This product is very easy to use. Simply place a few drops under your tongue, hold it for about a minute, and carry on with your day! Alternatively, you may place the desired amount into a glass of water or another type of drink.

Does your hemp extract tincture have THC?

Hemp extract tinctures do contain THC, but only in trace amounts. You will not feel any psychoactive effects of getting “high.” But many people feel more relaxed and at ease after taking CBD products.
