This ban, however, does not extend to cosmetic products. CBD oil can, therefore, be used as an ingredient in creams and balms sold in Spain.

Purchasing, possessing, and consuming cannabis in a public place is considered a misdemeanor in Spain. It is punishable by a fine and the confiscation of the product.
